Green DIY Christmas Labels

I received a lovely Christmas card today from our friends Jill and Mike with the cutest idea inside:

Green Christmas Labels_

She placed a little note in  the card with a ribbon about cutting the front o fthe card up to make Xmas labels. Awesome. I LOVE this! I never heard of it, nor thought of it before! I usually make labels out of wrapping paper if I run out of the sticky snowman labels—but these are even prettier and more clever. I know what I will be doing from here on out!

I just had to share!

What are your favorite DIY holiday ideas?

Michael, Ella and I did some damage tonight at the KOP mall. Christmas shopping is almost done! I can’t wait to start wrapping! I also can not wait to start baking. I am thinking of doing some of my doughs ahead of time. What have you successfully made ahead and kept in the fridge…I don’t really want to freeze anything. I have made cookie dough about a week ahead in the past. I can’t wait to use my new secret ingredient this year in my vanilla bean cookies. Ella has already learned to want to get at the paddle attachment from some of the things I bake for her. Smart girl.

My workout today was this one. Then I ran one mile of HIIT intervals and did 1 mile of HIIT on the cross-trainer.

This is my new favorite “I hate to run” treadmill workout:

It kills me but I was particularly not feeling it all out today. My knees have been fabulous since I have really upped my yoga practice—but this week I started feeling some junk in my MCL. Usually it’s my IT band that bothers me, but that’s been just fine! Foam rolling was in order. Well, I foam roll every day regardless but I paid extra attention to my legs this week.

We have Mike’s work Christmas party tomorrow night at a place that looks absolutely gorgeous. I still have nothing to wear. My recycle previous Holiday dresses and wear either of these:

The first is SO old and I do not look like I did in it 3 years ago so we’ll see about that. However, I do have more boobage to fill out the top (that always fell down from my lack thereof) Winking smile The other is from last year so I feel kind of lame but it’s a classic.I have another option from my brother’s fiancé that I’m picking up tomorrow to try. If you didn’t figure it out already, I am really not the fashionista I look to be. Ha!

Anyways, Hope all is well. Chat later.

Bursting your bubble:

Friends that use Xylitol for sugar-free baking this season may want to check out this post. Glad I never picked any up. Yikes.I never knew any of this!

Oh, that’s so cool! Never heard of that one either! I think I’ll have to try that out! I hope your leg pain gets better soon! My wrists have been hurting lately, I used to have tons of wrist problems so I hope it’s nothing serious! Hehe, I always re-wear dresses. I’m too cheap to buy too many new ones. Off to read the xylitol article, I’m going to guess I’ll also be happy I’ve never bought/used it!

Ohh I love the tartan dress! And a little more boobage is always great ;) Maybe with a cute black cardigan?

What a neat idea! I would never have thought of that but that is such a great idea. I’m going to have to remember that tip. Thanks for sharing!

that is a really cute idea! i like the dress on the right–you can change it up by your accessories or hair piece. add a colorful pop of color in your shoes or wear some cathedral earrings! i’m sure you will look gorgeous in whatever dress you choose :)

I like the dress from last year! I bet if you just added a few different accessories it would look like a totally different dress! I love black for that reason!
