So, this is kind of a weird comment, but the picture of you at 8 weeks slightly resembles my own belly (maybe not the actual measurement). I’ve been struggling with this for awhile now, and no matter what I do to my diet or workout regimen, I can’t seem to shake the pooch. AND, I obsess over it…
Any advice?
Hey, Jessica. You may not like my answer, but my best advice is to not obsess over it. My stomach was never perfect, it probably looked like it does in that 8 week photo most of the time. I was able to get it in the best shape when I stopped obsessing over it being “perfect” and just switching up my ab routine frequently. I felt it always looked the best in the summer when I was eating lighter cleaner foods all the time. Post-baby I will be happy if I get back to looking how I did at 8 weeks

I just came across your blog and it’s wonderful! I cannot believe what a cute preggers belly you have! Hopefully I’ll look like that sometime in the next year
You look like your just getting bigger in your belly and no where else, that’s hard to do when your preggers keep it up with whatever your doing (workouting!)… I hope the rest of my body stays like yours when I have kids! what’s your secret?!

I HAVE lost a little muscle tone in my arms, and things have definitely grown other places (child bearing hips, lil)…but basically I am trying to eat healthy and get to the gym regularly! My workouts have slowed down…but I think it has a lot to do with my not having the “eating for 2″ mentality. Although, as my pregnancy progresses….so does my appetite. We will see in months ahead what happens. Whatever it is, I am just going with it
